Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 14 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DELEGATE PTE LTD (“Delegate”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company incorporated under the laws of Singapore with registration number 201511320E and registered address at 22 North Canal Road #03-01, Singapore 048834 collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data through its website at delegate.sg, its vendor directory, its multi-enquiry tools and the Wedding Desk productivity tool (together, the “Site” and the “Services”).

The management and collection of personal data through the Site is subject to the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the “PDPA”). In this Privacy Policy, “Personal Data” means data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data together with other information to which we have or are likely to have access. Terms used but not defined here have the meaning given in our Terms of Use.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree and consent to Delegate (including its related corporations and service providers) collecting, using and disclosing your Personal Data in the manner described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Whose data this policy covers

This policy covers the personal data of both groups of people who use the Site: couples and planners (“Users”), and vendors (“Vendors”). The roles of Users and Vendors are described in the Terms of Use.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect the following categories of Personal Data:

Account and registration data - name, email address, phone number, password, and (for Vendors) business name, service category, location, pricing, portfolio images and profile content.

Enquiry data - the details you provide when you send an enquiry, including your name, contact details, event date, budget, guest count and any message or requirements you share with Vendors.

Transaction data - records of lead unlocks, subscriptions and Wedding Desk purchases. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not collect or store full payment card numbers on our own systems.

Usage and device data - pages viewed, listings and vendors you interact with, the URL you arrived from and navigate to, and technical information such as IP address, device type, operating system and browser.

Correspondence - messages, feedback, reviews and support requests you send to us or that others send to us about your activities.

3. How we use your personal data

We collect, use and disclose your Personal Data for the following purposes:

To create and administer your account and to provide the directory, multi-enquiry and Wedding Desk Services.

To handle enquiries and leads - including sharing your enquiry, name and contact details with the Vendor(s) you contact, and revealing your contact details to a Vendor when they unlock your enquiry.

To verify identity, process payments through Stripe, and maintain billing and transaction records.

To send service communications, and - where permitted - marketing, promotions and updates about the Site and selected partners. You may opt out of marketing at any time.

To conduct internal research and analytics on how the Site is used, in order to improve and secure our Services.

To enforce our Terms of Use, prevent fraud and misuse, and protect the rights, property and safety of Delegate, our Users, Vendors and others.

To comply with applicable law, court orders and requests from regulators or law enforcement authorities.

4. How we share enquiry and lead data

When you send an enquiry, your name, contact details and message are shared with the Vendor(s) you selected so they can respond. Your full contact details are disclosed to a Vendor only once that Vendor is entitled to the lead (the commercial terms for free and paid leads are set out in the Terms of Use).

A Vendor who receives your Personal Data through an enquiry or lead may use it only to respond to your interest in their services, must not use it for any unrelated purpose, and must stop using or delete it on request. Each Vendor is independently responsible for its own handling of Personal Data under the PDPA and indemnifies Delegate against claims arising from its misuse of that data.

5. Data in vendor listings

A directory listing may be “unclaimed” or “verified” (these terms are defined in the Terms of Use). From a data perspective:

Unclaimed listings are compiled by us from information a vendor previously provided to Delegate and/or business information that is publicly available - such as business name, service category, general location and public contact or social media details. They contain business information rather than sensitive personal data, and are clearly labelled as unclaimed.

Verified listings are controlled by the vendor, who is responsible for the accuracy of the personal or business data they publish.

If you are a vendor and do not wish to have an unclaimed listing, or you would like to correct or remove the information shown, you may claim the listing or contact us at support@delegate.sg, and we will action reasonable requests promptly. Content that is published in a listing is intended to be public: once published it may appear in search engines and other websites and may be cached or retained by third parties even after removal.

6. Artificial intelligence and your data

We use AI to support certain features, which are described in our Responsible AI Policy. The only point relevant to your personal data is this: we do not input your personal identifiers - such as your name, email address or phone number - into those AI models, and we do not use your Personal Data to train third-party AI models.

7. Cookies and your data

We use cookies, local storage and similar technologies, some of which involve personal data. How they work and how to manage them is explained in full in our Cookies Policy.

8. Disclosure to third parties

We may disclose your Personal Data to: Vendors (in the case of enquiries and leads); service providers who help us operate the Site, such as Stripe for payments, and hosting, email, analytics, AI and customer-support providers; professional advisers; and government agencies or other parties where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your Personal Data.

9. Transfer of data outside Singapore

Some of our service providers (including Stripe and our hosting, analytics and AI providers) may store or process data outside Singapore. Where we transfer Personal Data overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is afforded a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.

10. Payment and data security

Card payments are handled by Stripe. Delegate does not store your full card details; they are collected and held by Stripe in accordance with its own terms and security standards. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect Personal Data in our control, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. Retention

We retain Personal Data for as long as your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations, and to resolve disputes. We may retain certain records (including transaction records and reviews) after account closure where we have a legitimate or legal basis to do so.

12. Your rights under the PDPA

Subject to the PDPA, you have the right to request access to the Personal Data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, and to withdraw consent to our collection, use or disclosure of your Personal Data. If you withdraw consent, we may be unable to continue providing certain Services to you. To make a request, or to close your account and delete your Personal Data, please contact us at support@delegate.sg.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on the Site, and the “Last Updated” date above will be revised. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

14. Contact us
