This Responsible AI Policy explains how DELEGATE PTE LTD (“Delegate”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company incorporated under the laws of Singapore with registration number 201511320E and registered address at 22 North Canal Road #03-01, Singapore 048834 uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) across the website at delegate.sg, the vendor directory, the multi-enquiry tools and the Wedding Desk productivity tool (together, the “Site” and the “Services”).

We believe AI should be used in a way that is transparent, useful and respectful of your privacy. We use AI only in limited, clearly defined ways to improve your experience - not to make significant decisions about you without human involvement.

1. How we use AI

Wedding cost benchmarks. We use AI to analyse aggregated, non-identifying pricing and market data in order to produce benchmarks and estimates of typical wedding and event costs in Singapore. This helps couples understand indicative price ranges when planning. These benchmarks are estimates only - they are not quotes from any vendor and do not constitute financial advice.

Enquiry generation. We use AI to help generate and structure enquiry messages so that Users can quickly send clear, useful enquiries to Vendors. The AI works from the event details a User provides, such as event type, event date, budget range, guest count and the services required.

2. How we protect your data when using AI

Our use of AI is built around protecting your personal information:

We do not input your personal identifiers - such as your name, email address or phone number - into the AI models used for cost benchmarks or enquiry generation.

We do not use your Personal Data to train third-party AI models.

Cost benchmarks are produced from aggregated and non-identifying data, not from any single individual’s information.

Where we use third-party AI providers, we do so under terms that restrict their use of the data we send to providing the service to us.

Our wider handling of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.

3. Human oversight

AI is used to assist and speed up tasks, not to replace human judgement. We do not use AI to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you - such as decisions about your account, listings, payments or eligibility - without human oversight. Any AI-assisted output can be reviewed, corrected or overridden by our team.

4. Accuracy and limitations

AI systems can make mistakes. Cost benchmarks and AI-generated enquiry content are provided for convenience and may be incomplete, out of date or inaccurate. They should not be relied upon as professional, financial or legal advice, and you should verify any information that is important to your decisions. You remain responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-assisted content before you send or rely on it.

5. Our principles

Transparency - we are open about where and how we use AI.

Data minimisation - we limit the data used by AI and keep personal identifiers out of the models.

Human oversight - meaningful decisions involve a person, not AI alone.

Fairness - we take reasonable steps to avoid AI outputs that are misleading or unfair.

Security - AI is used within our broader data-security and privacy safeguards.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Responsible AI Policy from time to time as our use of AI and applicable laws evolve. Any changes take effect when posted on the Site, and the “Last Updated” date above will be revised.
